Built in 1827 by Pierre Roques, our neighbor's great-great-great-grandfather, Maison de Pierre is the oldest building in the row of cottages. The property has an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area on the first floor, which opens through wide French windows onto the private south-facing garden, furnished with table and chairs, a gas barbecue and shade for comfortable alfresco dining.There are two bedrooms on the second floor, one with a very large, lighted boat double bed and en-suite shower room and the other with a bunk bed and matching single bed, as well as an en-suite bathroom. A cot can be placed in either bedroom, according to your preferences.
